MAGA’s idea of “success” is rooted in aesthetics, domination, and spite, not material improvement. Their lives didn’t get better. Wages didn’t rise. Infrastructure didn’t get built. Prices are still through the roof. But Trump made them feel like part of a team with enemies to crush and no policy whatsoever to deliver. He gave them catharsis instead of change. That’s the scam, and they bought it twice.
