A Russian oil tanker finally made it through to Cuba, delivering much-needed fuel after weeks of shortages that left large parts of the country in the dark. One ship showing up shouldn’t feel like a miracle, but when a country is squeezed hard enough, even a single delivery becomes headline news.
This is what blockade economics looks like in real life. A nation waiting on one single tanker just to keep the lights on, and hospitals running, and other critical infrastructure.
