A nationwide blackout hit Cuba. And it’s not because they don’t know how to run a power grid, it’s not because they don’t have the resources, and it’s not because of “communism”. Decades of economic terrorism in the form of sanctions and blockades for decades which have only gotten worse under Trump have caused massive fuel shortages. This what collective punishment actually looks like in practice. Just an entire country going dark.
