Will Israel Drag the US Into War With Iran

Israel’s War with Iran would require the US to guarantee success in its aims of fully destroying Iran’s nuclear program. However, within the US, public opinion is firmly anti-war with Iran. The Political class of the US largely desires war with Iran. The president has also sent mixed signals on fighting Iran after Iranian counterstrikes on Israel, which have hit Israel’s version of the Pentagon and oil refineries in Haifa. US intervention also risks the Strait of Hormuz being closed and oil refineries in the Gulf being destroyed, causing oil prices to go sky high, destroying the presidency of Donald Trump. This situation would also massively increase global prices of all goods and risk global economic collapse.
