Why We Have To Criticize Mamdani

Winning an election doesn’t put a politician above criticism. If anything, it makes accountability more important. The movements that bring politicians to power cannot afford to abandon their principles the moment those politicians take office. Political loyalty should NEVER come before political principles. If the left is serious about building lasting working-class power, it must be willing to criticize its own representatives rather than excuse their compromises. The point isn’t to oppose Mamdani for the sake of opposition. It’s to insist that the promises made to a movement mean something after election day.
