Glad to see you pulling Hasan up. He's got a perverse belief in a 'good' America as an entity despite zero evidence it's true. Dangerous denial. He's a bit of an exceptionalist.

American wealth funded Hitler and the Italian monied class backed Mussolini.

He's wealthy, that's why.

I think the Hasan clip you showed he was talking specifically about foreign policy, and even more specifically about the theorizing that the capitalist class would end up backing down in Iran because the disrupt in the energy market and trade would give them cold feet towards escalation.

More broadly, I see the point of the DSA candidates (and even so-called "DSA aligned" candidates) is to 1. Agitate against capitalism and broaden class consciousness. 2. Save Palestine. 3. Weaken capital and empower labor organizing.

I agree with the need to build labor power and adapt a revolutionary posture to abolish capitalism, but as someone who's actually organized a union before, the rules are not exactly fair and also the lack of class consciousness makes things much harder than it should be.

Also, if it wasn't for hearing Bernie Sanders talking about class issues idk if I would have become the well read leftist I am today. Yes my politics have moved to the left of Bernie but after getting some class consciousness, that's where folks like you come in my friend 🫡

I have been screaming about the Democrats and their fascist police state of California for years on here and everyone ignores me…

Guy, you are right. The current Democratic Party Establishment has already demonstrated that capitalist collaboration only helps the elites at our expense.

Our by government is funding AI so that we can be surveilled and we can be controlled by gatekeeping access to the services we need and our finances. Watch what is being done to immigrants and citizens being rounded up by ICE...Loss of personal freedom, fear of reporting criminal activity, not seeking emergency health care, imposition of legal fees, confiscation of property, frozen bank accounts, inability to travel outside the US, and denial of licenses to drive or operate businesses. These tools are already being used against political enemies among the elite. Meanwhile, the politically favored are being "protected" as long as they "cooperate and collaborate".

I've watched, as they tried to derail your academic career, malign your reputation, and cut your social media funding streams.

Thank you for all that you say on do on your missions to tell the truth and act humanely.

Well said! Fascists don't make concessions--they use violence and authority to push the rebels back down. We have to meet them with the same level of power. Kissing up to them and hoping they'll be nice to us is just wishful thinking.

Thank you for making the distinction between a creative critique, rather than tearing down of a follow pro-democracy commentator like Hasan. It will take all of us collectively (who haven't drank the kool-aid) to end this authoritarian regime.

I think it is naive to trust the government and its minions

Democratic Party. Is there anyone able or fit enough to take on fascist Republican Marco Rubio, jd Vance or ted Cruz etc

Vote Green Party. Voting for another neo-fascist party like the DNC just adds to the capitalists' power.
