Israel's Attempted Rigging of Eurovision 2025

This year’s intense protest against the Israeli participation in the contest put pressure on the event organizers to ban Israel from the competition over the Israeli Genocide in Gaza. Israel, in response, began a campaign to get viewers to vote upwards of 20 times for Israel in the contest, causing them to shoot up to 2nd place. This campaign has left many to see that there is no reason to continue to let Israel participate in the competition, and likely demands for a ban will only be louder next year.
