Bethlehem is under military occupation. Gaza is in ruins. The Jordan River runs beside apartheid walls and sniper towers. If Jesus were born today, he’d be born behind a checkpoint under siege, stateless, and likely branded a terrorist.
The sanitized Christian Zionists that props up U.S. policy should ask the real question: what would Jesus say about the bombs, the land theft, the child prisoners, the desecration of the very soil he walked on? He wouldn’t be standing with the IDF. He wouldn’t be blessing tanks. He’d be weeping and resisting.
What Israel has done to Palestine is spiritual vandalism.
