France Commits to Recognizing Palestine at the Next UN Summit in September

France has declared that in September they will recognize Palestine being the first of the major western powers to do so. This recognition likely will do nothing. France is not the power of the EU and doesn’t have the political will to truly deter Israel. France ultimately is a US protectorate and will do little to truly go against the US and Israel.
