They say we are the violent ones. They say we are the threat to democracy. Yet they are the ones jailing journalists and building concentration camps.
Too often “common sense” is simply whatever the ruling class has managed to make feel natural. The ideas we inherit about work, property, freedom, continue to disintegrate as they strip away your right to healthcare. It’s the contradictions that expose the limits of that common sense. The worker who stands beside his brother on the job is already demonstrating something capitalism struggles to explain: two people who are supposedly competing with one another can recognize that their interests are shared. Our job is to drag the truth he already knows up into the front out of all the noise.
