In September, TikTok appointed Erica Mindel, a former Israeli military instructor turned public‑policy manager to control how “hate speech” is defined and policed on TikTok. Her resume is basically being a habara agent for Israel: Two years in the IDF Armored Corps, policy work with the U.S. State Department, and a Zionist advocacy track record. Seems pretty neutral for content moderation!
Now she’s effectively deciding which voices are heard and which are silenced on one of the world’s largest social media apps.
