Has he ever studied your history? Over in Europe there was a big clash between followers of Catholicism and the New Protestants. People could be beheaded (it was centuries ago). The Protestants also split into several sub sets. So The Mayflower sailed to your new land, later called the USA, to gain religious freedom. That was the whole point. There may be worse, one ‘priest’ from CZ said the New Testament is not part of the Bible or Christianity. That is too whacky for words. If he was referring to Islam or Judaism, etc, it would be very different. The problem seems to be that the NT shows a loving, kind Christianity, a LIVING YOUR LIFE WELL ‘cult’, not a death cult. Christ is increasingly sidelined by some Churches, with St Paul apparently lifting OT references that seem a little at variance with Christ. Kindness, tolérance, understanding, no Hate, no leperisation, no discrimination….all worrying stuff for people who just want power to control others through fear. As for over-adoration of money, and the Commandments (in Matthew 5), has Mr Trump’s Team read any of this? And by the way, Christians can be chilled.
